Each private patient room is designed for a positive birthing experience. Staff have all the essentials for patient care and safety. Mothers have needed patient amenities from the early stages of labor through delivery and recovery. Fathers have a comfortable place to rest and a mini-office for updating friends and checking in on business. Click this image to see a larger version


Click this image to see a larger version The Aspen Birth Center has five single-occupancy labor, delivery, and recovery rooms; four single-occupancy postpartum rooms; an antepartum room for patients being observed prior to active labor; and a family waiting area.


A threefold increase in the number of births since Aspen Valley Hospital was built in 1977 was the driving force behind the expansion, as well as changing patient expectations and standards of care. Click this image to see a larger version
