Administration Directory

Dave Ressler, Administrator/Chief Executive Officer
Dave joined Aspen Valley Hospital in 2004. Previously, he was the President/CEO at Sierra Vista Regional Health Center in Arizona. He holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration. Dave reports to a five-member Board of Directors and is responsible for implementing all aspects of the hospital’s strategic plan. The medical staff is comprised of more than 40 active members, as well as a number of consulting specialists. He led a successful financial turn-around and image recovery process at Aspen Valley Hospital and continues to focus on long-term viability and the delivery of the highest quality of healthcare.
Terry Collins, Chief Financial Officer
Terry joined the Aspen Valley Hospital executive team in 2005 following an extensive career in healthcare finance. He holds a master’s degree in business administration and in his 30-year career has worked at hospitals ranging from small rural facilities to large tertiary medical centers. Terry oversees all departments that contribute to the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes including finance, information technology, admissions, billing, medical records, and materials management. At Aspen Valley Hospital, he led a successful overhaul of the IT and billing functions.
Kathryn Chamberlin, Chief Nursing Officer
Kathryn holds a master’s degree in both healthcare administration and nursing. Her career evolved from staff nurse to manager, director, quality coordinator, hospital consultant, and executive leader. Prior to joining the Aspen Valley Hospital team in 2008, Kathryn was Interim Chief Nursing Officer for Banner Health System in Kansas and Vice President of Clinical Services for Bakersfield Heart Hospital in California. At Aspen Valley Hospital, Kathryn oversees a number of clinical departments, including all nursing functions. Her focus is on safe patient care, effective operations, performance improvement, and patient satisfaction.
Ginny Dyche, Director of Community Relations
Ginny is a registered nurse and holds a master’s degree in public administration and a doctorate in business administration with an emphasis on organizational culture. She has been employed at Aspen Valley Hospital for 24 years, holding a variety of positions within the organization. As the Director of Community Relations, she is responsible for marketing the hospital’s services, conducts internal and external events, manages all advertising and promotional materials/publications for the hospital, administers patient satisfaction surveys, and works with all departments to support and promote their services.
Elaine Gerson, General Counsel/Ethics and Compliance Officer, Administrator of Ancillary Services
A registered nurse, Elaine’s clinical practice has focused on critical care and cardiology. She served eight years in the Air Force as a nurse and was deployed during Desert Storm in 1991. She also holds a master’s degree in business, specializing in healthcare administration, as well as a juris doctorate. Her law career has allowed her to be involved in both litigation and risk management. At Aspen Valley Hospital, Elaine advises on all legal matters, assures that the hospital is compliant with all federal and state laws and regulations, and oversees the laboratory and diagnostic imaging departments.
Alicia Miller, Director of Human Resources
Alicia has worked at Aspen Valley Hospital since 2002. Prior experience includes community relations for a consulting firm and hotel conference management. In addition to her bachelor’s degree in political science, she holds a Professional in Human Resource certification from the Society for Human Resource Management. Alicia interacts with Aspen Valley Hospital’s 250+ managers and employees on a variety of human resource issues. She is responsible for a successful compensation program providing competitive wages and benefits to employees, has implemented a leadership development program, and serves on community task forces to address employee housing and transportation issues.
